Ashley Wagner’s nursing scholarship has meant more than financial assistance. First and foremost, it gives her freedom to focus on her education. But your gift to support future generations of nurses is letting her make the most of the Mercy College of Ohio as she prepares for a career in nursing. 

“This scholarship has allowed me the ability to experience Mercy College of Ohio without financial burdens,” she says. 

Ashley came to Mercy College directly from a small private high school. She quickly found a community where she felt at home. Now entering the BSN Clinical Program, she has balanced her studies with work while also becoming involved in campus life. She is a member of Student Council and the National Student Nursing Association. She’s confident these experiences will help her in her career. 

Ashley has built meaningful relationships with her professors and fellow students. Being able to explore different areas of campus and fully engage in the experience has given her the opportunity to grow as a person. 

“Without financial aid, I would not be able to be involved in campus life as I am now,” she says. 

Ashley knows the scholarship represents more than help with college expenses. It is an investment in her future and encouragement to keep working toward her goals.
