Don was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September 2023. He was referred to the Cancer Center by his primary care physician. His cancer was asymptomatic, so Don is grateful his doctor noticed a troubling change in his test results.

When Wendy Meadows first arrived at the Bon Secours St. Francis Emergency Room, she knew something was not right. After a CAT scan and an echocardiogram, doctors discovered her heart was slowly failing. That was the beginning of Wendy’s transformation that donors helped make possible.

Amiya’s Story

During her second pregnancy, Amiya Dibble suffered from life-threatening high blood pressure. As a result, she gave birth to daughter Paisley at St. Francis Eastside Hospital after only 32 weeks. Thanks to donor support of the Bon Secours St. Francis Foundation, the Level II Neonatal Care Unit (NCU) at St. Francis had the special X-ray equipment necessary to care for Paisley.
