Make an Impact

Ensure a healthier community for everyone

Healthy, thriving residents make Greenville better for everyone

Bon Secours community health services help every person lead a fuller life

A healthy community depends on many resources coming together, including access to quality health care, education and employment opportunities. Inspired by our Catholic roots that teach us each person is sacred, Bon Secours is playing a lead role in our communities to address some of the greatest needs.

Our health and wellness services extend well beyond the walls of our Bon Secours St. Francis facilities, reaching into neighborhoods across the Greenville area. Because of donors' generosity, we can provide a number of important health screenings and wellness resources out in the community to help people access care and support when and where it's most convenient for them. And often free of charge, to further help those who qualify because they lack insurance or the financial means to pay.

That's the impact your donation will have. You'll help people get the tools and support they need to prioritize their good health and have a better, more independent future.

Mobile Mammography

Donations keep our two Mobile Mammography coaches on the road. The coaches provide the latest 3D digital mammograms to thousands of Upstate women across Greenville, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties, mirroring the screenings, patient-centered care and education found at the Pearlie Harris Center.

Limited access to diagnostic services in South Carolina is a main reason that breast cancer is too often found in the later stages. When you give, you ensure more women get regular screening exams that detect breast cancer in its earliest and most treatable stages, helping to lower their risk of dying from cancer.

Project SEARCH

Donations designated for Project SEARCH provide more internship opportunities than ever for students with disabilities, as the in-demand program continues to expand. These young adults learn relevant, marketable skills during their internship at Bon Secours St. Francis. Between 80 and 100 percent of Project SEARCH students find employment by the time they graduate from the program.

Your gift helps maintain the Joseph J. Pazdan Project SEARCH Center where interns participate in classroom and skill training, as well as costs for the program, equipment, computers and transportation.

Breast Health Screening Fund

Donations ensure no woman is turned away from life-saving breast screenings simply because she doesn't have medical insurance or the ability to pay. Whether a woman schedules an exam at the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health or a Mobile Mammography coach in her community, the Breast Health Screening Fund will help her get the testing she needs to detect any signs of breast cancer when it is most treatable.
