Jane’s Story

After months of hospitalization, the loss of her husband, and a battle with depression that left her feeling isolated and alone, Jane Jones didn't know how to move forward. Through Senior Life Solutions at Mercy Health Marcum and Wallace Hospital, Jane found transportation to group sessions, coping strategies, and a community that helped her rediscover life. Today she is painting again, reading again, and attending local festivals she once thought were out of reach.

60 golfers participated in the Mercy Health Foundation Irvine's first fundraiser of the year, the Powell County Charity Golf Scramble. This event raised over $10,000 towards a Palliative Care program for both inpatient and outpatient needs.
