For Ethan Moore, giving is an investment in the future of quality health care. As a board member and monthly supporter of the Greatest Needs Fund, he believes local care makes a lasting difference in his community.

“You want to see rural health care succeed,” Ethan says. “These hospitals are lifelines for people who live here.”

Ethan says he was inspired to donate after learning more about the challenges rural hospitals face. He was already well aware of the important roles they play in rural communities. Becoming a Foundation donor felt like the best way to help support those needs as they arise.

“I liked knowing my gift could go wherever it was needed most,” he says.

Ethan’s support became even more personal during a late-night emergency when a visiting friend needed care.

“At 3 a.m., people were there ready to help with kindness and compassion,” he says. “It made me realize I’m part of something meaningful.”
