Justin Dixon believes strong communities are built when people show up for one another. This is especially true in small towns.

“At the end of the day, everybody helping everybody is how a community stays successful,” he says.

Justin brings both his leadership and his giving to Mercy Health Foundation. He is a four-term board member and current chair. As a regional bank president and local business owner, he’s long championed staying involved locally. Annual gifts are one way he supports the hospital that serves his family, coworkers and neighbors.

“Having a quality hospital right here in the community is something we sometimes overlook,” Justin says. “In an emergency, speed and access matter.”

Justin sees firsthand how foundation support benefits everyone. Donors help implement new services, purchase equipment and fund facility improvements.

“Every dollar adds up,” he says. “When you give what you can, it becomes a win-win for families and the whole community.”
