Mark Meeker, and his late wife Sharon, started giving to Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes after experiencing the amazing care her father M.L. Driskill received in hospice. They saw it again a few years later when Sharon’s mother, Imogene, also needed care.

The personal impact of those services was not lost on Mark. He continues to give, now also in memory of Sharon who received care at Mercy Health — Lourdes Hospital.

“When Sharon’s father passed, we wanted to return the good will with an annual gift to support what they do,” Mark says. “We decided to give a little extra each time a friend or family member passed, to honor their memory.”

“I know the value of those services. I want to make sure they are there for my family and others. We’ve been very fortunate, and have the means to give back to society and the community through causes we believe in. This is one of them.”
