“I’ve always taken pride in helping my patients. It’s rewarding when they accomplish more than they thought possible,” Chris says.

The Acute Rehabilitation Center’s renovation brought in new adaptive therapy equipment and technology. It also created functional spaces like a restaurant, bank, movie theater, and grocery store. These environments allow patients to practice real life skills prior to reintegrating back into the community.

“There would be no One Step Closer to Home project without your generous donation,” Chris says. “You helped make our dream a reality. It will benefit our community immensely.”

Chris also sees the benefits that the renovations have for associates as well.

“It is a stimulating and inspiring work environment that looks great. But it also allows our therapists to maximize their creativity,” he says. “A beautiful and unique environment makes our associates happy to come to work and provide quality patient care.”
