Cancer Care
A donation to our Cancer Care fund is an easy way to support oncology services at all Mercy Health locations in northwest Ohio. When a need arises, funding is available to purchase the latest medical equipment, to renovate or expand cancer treatment facilities and to provide screenings and education in the community with services like the Mobile Mammography vehicle.

Mercy Health's flagship cancer center in the Toledo area depends on donations for ongoing enhancements and to offer the most advanced medical technology and treatments for complex cancers. Thanks to Mercy Health Foundation donors, people with cancer can receive lifesaving state-of-the-art cancer care in a modern facility without the burden of traveling to a larger metropolitan area.

Mobile Mammography Vehicle
For busy women, it can be hard to find time for their annual mammogram. Add in a lack of transportation or medical insurance and some women skip this important health screening altogether.
Mercy Health's donor-supported mobile mammography vehicle makes it convenient to walk in or make an appointment when the van is nearby in a woman's own neighborhood. Operating five days a week for up to 10 hours a day, the mobile unit visits neighborhoods across the Toledo metro area and offers state-of-the-art imaging for the most accurate results, with no doctor's order needed. And financial assistance is available for women who qualify.

Help give all women a convenient option for life-saving breast cancer screenings
Prostate Cancer Education for Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital
Outreach to men in this rural community an hour outside of Toledo is the main purpose of the Prostate Cancer Education fund. Your donation helps the hospital provide a number of important screenings and awareness activities in the community throughout the year. With your help, more men are monitoring their health for the earliest signs of prostate cancer.
