Having a baby is one of the most joyful events a family can experience together. At Mercy Health — Lourdes Hospital’s new Little Miracles Birthing Center, it’s now even easier and more convenient to share that joy together. And it’s all thanks to your support.

Caroline Frazier was one of the first patients to give birth in the new facility. She welcomed baby Sheppard to her family. And, she can’t say enough about how nice the new space is for a new mom and baby.

“Everyone was great,” she says. “It was such a wonderful experience to welcome our baby in a nice, new place.”

Sheppard’s big brother Stetson was born at the previous unit, before the recent renovation. Caroline immediately noticed how much bigger and fresher the space is now compared to then.

“The delivery room was beautiful,” she says. “And with the renovated rooms being larger, we were able to have both sets of grandparents and my sister visit very comfortably.”

The new birthing center offers a comfortable, home-like atmosphere. The space not only has a modern design, but it offers new technology. Everything from cribs to monitors were all made possible by donors like you.

“We really appreciate the support donors have given to create such a beautiful space,” Caroline says. “While the old birthing center was nice, it was small and somewhat outdated. We just loved the new center.”
