Adrienne Piazza donates because of what she learned during her mother’s cancer journey. She wants everyone to have the same conveniences during a trying time.

“We were able to support her from her home. It was easy to get her to and from appointments,” she says.

Adrienne knows that not all patients are as fortunate. Some have to travel for care at Bon Secours — St. Mary’s Hospital. That’s where the donor-supported Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House makes a real difference. It is a convenient and welcoming respite where patients’ families can gather, eat and sleep during their loved ones’ hospital stay.

Since that realization, Adrienne has supported the Guest House through donations of her time and money.

“As a volunteer for the Guest House, I saw firsthand how a small donation can make a big impact,” she says. “I really understood by seeing it in action how that money is spent and how it impacts families.”
