While innovation and research are important for the best health care, entrepreneurship and marketable ideas are also opportunities for neighbors in our local communities. Our innovation team partners with other Toledo organizations to provide training and support for people—especially those in historically underserved areas—who want to start or grow a business or commercialize their own ideas.
Thanks to Mercy Health Foundation donors and grant support, the innovation team facilitates a course of free classes that help people learn important business concepts to launch or grow their own business. Participants can even receive a free laptop for their venture by completing a certain number of classes.
