Give Kids a Chance for a Better Life
Give the gift of compassionate care
Make a difference today and for generations to come!
Help us bring an increased quality of life to many more kids and their families across Central Virginia
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Noah’s Children, and to honor the children and families of the program, we are establishing the Noah’s Children Endowment. Our intention is to raise $2.5 million over the next 24 months to establish this fund. To start us off, a grateful family contributed a $100,000 gift in memory of their loved one, Hannah Humphris, and in honor of Dr. Bob Archuleta.
Noah's Children is a program that provides holistic, interdisciplinary home care for infants and children up to age 18 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness. Philanthropic support of the program comes from grateful families, memorial gifts, individuals, corporations and Bon Secours employees. Some of the funds raised by donors at the annual Children’s Hope Gala also go to Noah's Children. Since 2007, when Noah's Children became part of the health system, Bon Secours Richmond Health System has contributed toward critical operational costs—such as rent and staff salaries. Now, we want to look to a new horizon, past maintenance and to expansion.

“Noah’s Children has been the single stable foundation that keeps my feet on solid ground through all the ups and downs that we have faced. Noah’s is the thing, the person, the recovery that when all the air is sucked from the room, they are right there to remind me to breathe. I can’t imagine trying to navigate any of this life without them by our side.” —Amanda Jones, mother of patient

Dr. Bob A. Archuleta
Choosing palliative care and/or hospice for your child does not mean giving up hope. It’s about living life to the fullest—the fullest and most comfortable life your child has in their remaining time. It’s not about adding time to your child’s life, but rather about adding life to your child’s time.
Our Future Goals
Some of the ways your gift will help expand the work of Noah's Children include:
- Growing the team to meet the demands of the current census
- Growing the program by extending our current service area or by serving more age groups
- Developing a creative therapies program, such as massage therapy, that will benefit patients' families
- Possibly adding new roles to our care team, like a child life specialist and a psychologist
- Providing respite services for families
How You Can Help
Bon Secours depends on donations from caring community members like you to build an endowment fund that will support sick children and their families for many years to come. This dependable source of funding will ensure Noah's Children can continue providing programs and services for infants and children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses.
We are grateful for gifts of any size. By stepping forward to generously support the Campaign for Noah's Children Endowment you will help us reach our $2.5 million goal.
