To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Noah's Children, and to honor the children and families of the program, we are establishing the Noah's Children Endowment. Our intention is to raise $2.5 million over the next 24 months to establish this fund. To start us off, a grateful family contributed a $100,000 gift in memory of their loved one, Hannah Humphris, and in honor of Dr. Bob Archuleta.
Noah's Children is a program that provides holistic, interdisciplinary home care for infants and children up to age 18 who are diagnosed with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness. Philanthropic support of the program comes from grateful families, memorial gifts, individuals, corporations and Bon Secours employees. Some of the funds raised by donors at the annual Children's Hope Gala also go to Noah's Children. Since 2007, when Noah's Children became part of the health system, Bon Secours Richmond Health System has contributed toward critical operational costs-such as rent and staff salaries. Now, we want to look to a new horizon, past maintenance and to expansion.

Choosing palliative care and/or hospice for your child does not mean giving up hope. It's about living life to the fullest-the fullest and most comfortable life your child has in their remaining time. It's not about adding time to your child's life, but rather about adding life to your child's time.
Our Future Goals
Some of the ways your gift will help expand the work of Noah's Children include:
- Growing the team to meet the demands of the current census
- Growing the program by extending our current service area or by serving more age groups
- Developing a creative therapies program, such as massage therapy, that will benefit patients' families
- Possibly adding new roles to our care team, like a child life specialist and a psychologist
- Providing respite services for families
