Catherine supports Mercy Health Foundation to take its mission out into the world
With 27 years of service at Mercy Health, Catherine Woskobnick finds purpose in her work and in the Mercy Health Foundation, which she supports as a “Lead for Good” donor.
Many Foundation programs resonate with Catherine. Family Outreach cares for pregnant women and babies. Faith-based Community Nursing brings healthy programs and support to area churches.
“My passion is taking our mission out in the world. It's about looking in the eyes of all we serve, recognizing their dignity, seeing their need, and finding ways we can help.”
The Mercy Health Rising Stars Program is a program she developed 20 years ago to increase the diverse pipeline of health care professionals. The program provides paid medical internships for high-school students in Lorain County.
Catherine encourages Mercy Health employees to join her in supporting the Foundation.
“Donations are helping our community, caring for people, and providing access to both care and new equipment so that the communities health needs are met," she says.
