Wanda Galvan is grateful to have a dear friend who helped her through some of the most difficult times of her life. They even battled breast cancer together twice. In the end, her friend didn’t survive and left behind two teenage daughters who had lost both parents.

“My friend’s passing was very difficult for me,” Wanda shares. “My heart was heavy. I wanted her to be remembered. I felt it was the least I could do for her.”

When Wanda received a brochure about the Foundation, she reached out and learned about naming the Foundation as the beneficiary of her life insurance policy. And how her gift could be made as a tribute to her friend.

“It’s very easy to do,” she says. “I can’t give month-to-month donations so leaving money from my life insurance policy was the best way for me to honor my friend’s memory.”

Wanda’s gift reflects her strong commitment to helping others by giving back. Her generosity will ensure people who are struggling get the resources they need to live a better life.

“I want to support them. I see God in those people,” Wanda adds. “And this gift will help my friend’s legacy live on.”
