Dan Basinski has seen the difference between a health care system and a health care ministry. He believes a health care ministry like Mercy Health does more to provide care for the underserved. He gives to Mercy Health Foundation Lorain to support that mission.

“I worked for a large hospital group in another city,” Dan says. “While we gave good medical care, it came at a cost. That care was not always obtainable by the underserved.”

Dan wants everyone to have access to health care. His gift to the Foundation helps more people in his community receive care. He also appreciates how all patients are treated with the compassion and respect they deserve.

“Mercy Health Foundation Lorain has the capacity to provide medical opportunities for a population that can’t always get them because of their economic status. As donors, we all make medical resources more obtainable by the underserved.”
