Buckeye Express Car Wash is a company that cares deeply about breast cancer awareness
Everyone at Buckeye Express Car Wash is passionate about breast cancer awareness. That’s why they hold an annual fundraiser in October and donate all the proceeds to the Mercy Health Foundation Lorain. According to Janessa Leimeister, Director of Marketing for Buckeye Express, it’s about giving back.
“Our approach is community outreach,” she said.
“We want to benefit the communities we serve. We’ve done these fundraisers for years, and everyone from the CEO to the CFO is always excited about it.”
Last year, Buckeye Express Car Wash donated $5,402.48 to help raise awareness for breast cancer in Lorain.
All nine locations are gearing up for another promotion in October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the goal to top last year’s total by offering even more incentives for donations.
“One hundred percent of the money we raise is donated locally,” Janessa said. “We want to make a significant impact and be able to help residents in the Lorain Community.”
