About St. Joseph Warren Hospital
In 1924, Dr. Chester Waller founded the 50-bed Riverside Hospital. Unfortunately, six months later, he passed away. The Sisters of the Humility of Mary purchased it at that time, as he'd always intended to entrust it to them. In 1996, it moved to Eastland Avenue, where it became St. Joseph Warren Hospital.
Today, generous donors like you make the hospital a health care leader in the region. It's an award-winning institution, with the most advanced surgical suites and latest technology.
