Make an Impact

Ensure everyone in our community can improve their health

Healthy, thriving residents make Paducah a better place to call home

Mercy Health's community health initiatives help every person lead a fuller life

Our health and wellness services extend well beyond the walls of Lourdes Hospital, reaching into neighborhoods across western Kentucky. But we depend on donors like you to support the Foundation's Community Health fund. Your gift helps Mercy Health Lourdes provide important health screenings and wellness resources out in the community, giving people access to quality health care and support when and where it's most convenient for them. And often free of charge, to further help those who qualify because they lack insurance or the financial means to pay.

Your donation will help people get the tools and support they need to prioritize their good health and have a better quality of life. Some of the resources provided thanks to donations include:

  • Mobile Care-A-Van provides flu shots, back to school physicals, blood pressure checks and other screenings at community events and health fairs
  • Free flu shot clinics
  • Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for local schools and Sheriff's offices
  • Feminine hygiene kits for girls in area schools
  • Blessing Boxes at Mercy Health Lourdes facilities across the region, filled with free food, personal hygiene items, clothing, sleeping bags and other essentials for the homeless or others in need

Wellness Starts Here

Mercy Health is here for you, your loved ones, your neighbors when an illness or injury strikes. And here to help people get and stay well so a medical condition doesn't become a health crisis. Your donation ensures people in communities across western Kentucky have resources to monitor and improve their health.
