Help Kids Heal
Ensure complete care for children—body, mind and spirit
Illnesses, injuries or mental health challenges don't have to steal the joy of childhood
Donations ensure children of all ages get health care and support tailored to their unique needs
A bright future for kids is a better future for everyone in our community. Good physical and mental health are important to help young people thrive and develop into the best version of themselves. When children experience an injury, illness or emotional trauma like the loss of a loved one, they need special care and support to fully recover.
When you give to one of Mercy Health's services designed for kids, you ensure they get the best care for their body, mind and spirit.
Pediatrics
Being in the hospital is scary for many kids and their parents. Donations to Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes for pediatric care provide a kid-friendly patient experience for children during their hospital stay. Donations have recently supported:
- Renovations of pediatric hospital rooms that allow parents to comfortably stay with their child round the clock
- Mobile gaming carts with Xboxes
- Coloring books and crayons for pediatric patients recovering after surgery

Camp Robin for Grieving Children
Camp Robin is a free day camp held each year to provide grief support for children ages 4 to 17 and their families. Donations for Camp Robin cover the costs for age-appropriate therapeutic activities in a fun, safe environment with bereavement professionals. Young campers experience a petting zoo, lunch, arts and crafts, story and letter writing time, and a memorial ceremony to honor the loved one they lost.
