How Would You Like to Make a Difference?
I want to make an impactful gift, but I also want to be sure I maintain financial security for my lifetime.
Consider: Bequest, beneficiary designation, blended gift
I want my generosity to be tax-efficient, reducing or avoiding income taxes, and making the most of my assets.
Consider: qualified charitable distribution, charitable gift annuity, gift of appreciated stock or real estate
I am grateful for the health care I or someone I love received and I want to give back.
Consider: donor-advised fund, bequest, beneficiary designation, blended gift
I am updating my estate plan and want to include a gift to the Foundation.
Consider: bequest, beneficiary designation
Bequest
Include a gift to the Foundation in your will or trust. This gift takes effect after your lifetime and can be changed if your circumstances change.
Beneficiary designation
Name the Foundation as a beneficiary of your retirement accounts or life insurance policy. This gift will pass tax-free to the Foundation at your death. For retirement accounts, it may also help reduce taxes that could otherwise be owed by heirs.
Blended gift
Combine a gift today with a future gift through your will, trust or beneficiary designation. This allows you to make an impact now while retaining access to your assets during your lifetime.
Charitable gift annuity
Make a gift to the Foundation and, in return, receive fixed payments for life. This gift will provide an immediate charitable tax deduction.
Donor-advised fund
Recommend a grant to the Foundation from your donor-advised fund. If you don’t already have one of these charitable investment accounts, you can establish one with the Foundation, receive tax benefits when the gift is made, and growth in the fund is tax-free.
Qualified charitable distribution
If you are 70 ½ or older you can make a gift directly from your IRA to the Foundation. This may help reduce your taxable income.
