Excellence in Service and Stewardship Celebrated at Foundation's first Impact Dinner
The Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley hosted its inaugural impact dinner on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Stambaugh Auditorium in downtown Youngstown. The new event featured an elegant evening among industry and community partners, who shared in the success the Foundation has had over the past year.
President of the Foundation, Paul Homick Jr., reported the 2025 annual report showcasing the work the Foundation was able to accomplish through the support and generosity of our donors.
The 2026 Visionary Awards were also presented to health care leaders who exemplify Mercy Health’s Mission and provide visionary leadership in their service to the community. This year’s awardees included:
- The Leadership in Health Award | Dr. Ronald Rhodes, Chief Academic Officer, Mercy Health Lorain and Youngstown
- The Heart of the Mission Award | Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital Auxiliary
- The Continuing the Legacy Award | Ian Beniston, Executive Director, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation
The impact of the evening was felt amongst all in attendance, through touching video presentations, powerful annual numbers, and the reminder of the important work the Foundation does for the community, contributed to the success of this years’ first Impact Dinner featuring the Visionary Awards.
