Because good help starts with you.

Associate Donors

Giving back is a sacred tradition at Bon Secours Mercy Health. Your generosity along with the work you do every day makes you the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing good help to those in need. There are many ways to give and a variety of programs or services to support in the Toledo market. Gifts can remain local as you designate, or directed to a ministry-wide fund.

Community Health Programs and Education

Through screenings and educational programs, people are inspired to adopt healthy behaviors to be well and stay well.

Prescription Assistance Program

This program is to provide a free service to adult residents of Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties and patients of Mercy Health Physicians who may reside outside of the counties noted, who are uninsured or under-insured for prescription drugs. The service helps reduce and/or eliminate barriers to access needed medication.

Dental Clinic

Provides comprehensive care and education to underserved children and adults in Ashtabula, Carroll, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. Staffed by a team of dentists and hygienists, our Kikel Mobile Dental Clinic travels to schools and adult community agencies and we have a comprehensive dental clinic at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. We strive to reach those who do not have, or have never seen, a dentist. We will see any patient regardless of ability to pay.

Hispanic Health Programs

Our Spanish-speaking staff helps members of the Hispanic Community to find medical and social services, participate in basic health classes, educational programs and screenings, make medical appointments and provide interpretation services during medical appointments.

Youngstown Market Greatest Need

Provides the flexibility to meet urgent needs as they arise.

Hospice of the Valley

Provides quality compassionate end of life care for the terminally ill as well as support for the family.

Joanie’s Promise

Ensures that any woman in the Mahoning Valley has access to diagnostic breast services regardless of ability to pay.

Opioid Initiative

Provides peer recovery support workers in emergency departments, substance abuse prevention programs in local schools, ongoing education for physicians and SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and referral to Treatment) training for health care professionals.

Healthy Babies

Supports Resource Mothers and Centering Pregnancy, two programs that target the high rate of infant mortality in the Mahoning Valley.

Man Up Mahoning Valley
