Floyd and Christine give because they enjoy sharing their blessings
Floyd and Christine Trouten count themselves as fortunate and believe it is important to share their prosperity when they can.
Floyd has served Mercy Health Foundation in many capacities, even jumping in as head of the stewardship committee and treasurer before. But he and Christine are also donors to the Foundation, with their gifts focusing primarily on Mercy Health’s services for Lorain County residents.
“We are privileged to be in a position to give. It is really an honor to contribute to something we believe in.”
“The mission of helping others is important to us,” Christine added. “We both came from very modest backgrounds, and we are aware of how blessed we have been. We feel called to use our gifts for those less fortunate. We are trying to do our part and to teach our children to do the same.”
