Planned/Estate Gifts

A legacy gift in your will or estate plan will help others for generations to come. One of the easiest ways is to make a bequest to the Mercy Health Foundation. There are many charitable estate and gift planning options with financial and tax benefits to help you make your best gift. Visit our Gift Planning page for more information.

Easily set up a recurring monthly gift charged to your credit card, debit card, or bank draft by using our online donation form.

Donating appreciated stocks or other securities to the Foundation is an ideal gift option, possibly offering a tax deduction for the fair market value of the gift and avoiding capital gains tax on appreciation. To transfer a gift of stocks, please contact a gift officer or download the donation form by clicking the arrow.

A pledge is a commitment to make a gift in the near future, and may qualify for a set payment schedule. Gifts of $10,000 or greater can often be paid over a period up to five years. Speak with one of our gift officers to learn more or to make a pledge.

In lieu of flowers, gifts for any of our locations or health care services can be suggested in a loved one's obituary. Tribute gifts can be mailed to:

Grateful Patients

Patients who are grateful for the life-changing care they receive often want a meaningful way to thank the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for them. Any gift can be made in honor of a special caregiver, and we will notify them of your thoughtful donation in their honor. Use the Honor/Memorial Tribute section on our online donation form to easily make a grateful patient gift today, or include tribute details with your mailed gift.

Supporting one of our fundraising events is a fun way to provide generous support for great health care in your community. Find an upcoming event near you, and get involved!

When making a gift, check with your employer to see if your company matches charitable donations and to obtain any necessary forms. A company match is a great way to increase the impact of your giving!
