Lynne gives so that the best imaging services are available to all women

When Lynne Zultanky found out she needed a breast biopsy following a recent mammogram, it was déjà vu all over again. She’d also had one 20 years ago and wasn’t looking forward to another one.

“Back then, biopsies were performed in the surgery department, which was pretty scary,” she said.

 

“This time around, it was done as an outpatient procedure at the Women’s Imaging Center. It was far less invasive, and the team was awesome.”

 

Ironically, Lynne already donates to the Bon Secours Women’s Imaging Center as an Associate. She never imagined she would be the one benefitting from her own generosity.

“I believe in the Bon Secours Mission, and I believe in investing in what you believe in,” Lynne said. “I didn’t expect to need a biopsy, but it’s comforting to know the technology is available at Hampton Roads.”

Lynne Zultanky is the Manager of the Laboratory Outreach Program at Bon Secours. Since she is in the unique position of being both Associate and patient, she has a deeper understanding of the value of these services.
