You helped the Bjorklunds stay close to care during their daughters’ intensive therapy
When her teenage twin daughters needed intensive physical therapy, Francesca Bjorklund and her family knew they could count on your help.
The Bon Secours Richmond Hope Therapy Center provided the three weeks of therapy the girls needed, and the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House was there for lodging and support.
“COVID-19 was very difficult for my daughters,” Francesca said, “They also grew quite a lot during that time. We were able to access the intensive therapy on two different occasions, and the Guest House was always there for us.”
The Bjorklunds live more than two hours away, and they found staying in the Guest House was more comfortable and convenient than a hotel.
“The facilities are so much nicer and having access to a kitchen was great. The staff and volunteers are amazing and being able to interact with other families and making those relationships was invaluable.”
Francesca and her family are grateful for your support of the Reinhart Guest House.
“It is such a gift to the people who stay there—truly a blessing,” she said. “Without it, our lives would be so much more difficult. We are so thankful to have it.”
“Knowing you have a safe place to stay when you are under stress eases your mind from worry, including financially. When you are physically or mentally drained, it is nice to know there is a place where you can rest, relax and feel safe.”
