Wendy gives to local health care to be part of the solution
As a former hospital board chair, Wendy Doolittle has a unique perspective on health care's role in a community. After all, she had a front-row seat to the impact the Mercy Health Foundation Clark & Champaign Counties had on hers.
“Whether it's procuring a sterilizing robot during the pandemic, or acquiring cutting-edge equipment for robotic surgeries, the Foundation greatly influences patient care.”
And Wendy knows the Foundation continues its good work every day. That's why she's been a supporter for more than a decade. She's witnessed the vital role it plays in her local hospital's daily operations.
“At times, we may feel disconnected from the medical struggles of others. My time on the hospital board exposed me to the range of issues that individuals encounter,” she says. It informed her belief that improving the health and well-being of her community is a noble mission. “Cultivating a spirit of generosity, whenever possible, is vital for the collective betterment of all.”
