Don Bisher is a pharmacist at Mercy Health and a donor to the Mercy Health Foundation Greater Cincinnati. He feels blessed to serve patients daily. He is passionate about giving back to an organization that aligns with his values.

“I’ve been fortunate to have a career that allows me to support charities of my choosing,” he says. “I donate to the Foundation because every dollar directly benefits those in need.”

As a recurring donor, Don contributes to Caring for Our Own Fund. This fund helps Mercy Health employees experiencing emergency hardship. He also donates to the Cincinnati West Hospital Greatest Needs and Mercy Health Greatest Needs funds.

Don is especially passionate about the prescription assistance program. His role lets him see the impact this program has on a nearly daily basis.

“As a pharmacist involved in patient discharge, I see this program at work. It helps patients access crucial medications until they can find other resources,” he says.
