The Ballards give to show appreciation for Marcum and Wallace Hospital and the staff there
Mercy Health Marcum and Wallace Hospital has been a part of Arthur and Shonna Ballard’s lives since the very beginning. They were both born there.
The Ballards see giving as part of their responsibility as citizens and as a way to show gratitude to the hospital staff for the care they provide the community.
“Our hospital has been a blessing to our community and our family for years. It has served us, and we will always help as much as we can.”
“A part of giving is appreciation,” Shonna says. “I like doing this because it is our way of letting them know how much we appreciate what they do every day.”
“Giving to those organizations that have meaning to you is important,” Arthur says. “That’s what we’re supposed to do—give back—whether it is with service, or time, or monetarily.”
