You make annual breast cancer screenings possible for Rebecca

For Rebecca Keep, a life of service has come full circle, thanks to your support of the Mercy Health Foundation and assistance programs like the Kim Z. Imaging Fund.

Rebecca and her family spent years as missionaries in the Philippines, providing both spiritual and medical care to those in need. Now back in the U.S., Rebecca still works in ministry, but her health insurance doesn’t cover annual mammograms. The donor-supported Kim Z. Imaging Fund helps her get the tests she needs.

“I’m grateful the fund is available and I’m going to pay this forward in a myriad of ways.”

“I’m a nurse by training,” she explains. “During our years conducting medical missions, we provided health care to people will no access to doctors or hospitals. One of the great joys of my life was being able to provide immunizations and other essential services to children. So now, for me to be on the receiving end is very special.”

Rebecca has always been aware of the importance of regular mammograms. Her sister-in-law’s recent breast cancer diagnosis made the annual screening even more urgent. The Kim Z. Imaging Fund is an answer to Rebecca’s prayers.

“Thank you so much for your generosity. There are a lot of people like me. We’re responsible, we’re working, but we don’t always have access to preventive care. And out-of-pocket costs are sometimes prohibitive. The fund is a great blessing to my life.”
