Faye and Charlie give so that everyone can have access to excellent care
Faye and Charlie Keller have been longtime supporters of the Bon Secours Foundation, but this year their gift is a bit more personal.
“I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year,” Faye said. “It is a difficult diagnosis to hear, but I received such exemplary and compassionate care, we wanted to do something to help other breast cancer patients.”
The Kellers have been regular donors since the 1990s, and because of Faye’s positive experience during her illness, they have decided to set up a fund specially to minister to breast cancer patients at St. Francis and Southside Regional Medical Center.
“Some years ago, I was on the board of the Foundation,” Charlie said. “So, we know they are good financial stewards of donations. We’ve always felt good about making contributions to Bon Secours.”
Faye said, “The care I received was wonderful. This is a way to recognize that and make sure patients continue to get such excellent care.”
