Cathy gives to Bon Secours St. Francis Foundation to provide quality cancer care for her community
Cathy Miller’s cancer diagnosis made her acutely aware of how fortunate her community is to have the Bon Secours St. Francis Cancer Center and the Pearlie Harris Center for Breast Health.
“I had a series of caregivers who were so supportive and kind. They guided me through a really difficult time in my life,” she recalls. “Those are the people that I wanted to thank in a giving way.”
“St. Francis has the vision, the knowledge and such caring hearts to do that right thing for my community.”
Cathy began giving to the St. Francis Foundation through fundraising events. As her confidence grew in the Foundation, she decided to do a planned gift dedicated to furthering cancer care in her community.
“I am a firm believer that money should go to the people that you trust to do the right thing,” she says.
