Mercy Health - Paducah, KY

Robert is grateful for associate donors who support the Caring for Our Own Fund

The world turned upside down after a massive tornado tore through Kentucky. Nearly 400 Mercy Health associates were living in or near the severe weather area. Some lost homes. Others lost family. But thanks to the generosity of fellow associates, none lost hope.

Robert Doering is Vice President of Mission Services at Mercy Health - Lourdes Hospital. He's thankful for donors like you because he sees how your gifts to the Caring for Our Own Fund helps associates in crisis.

“After the tornado, there was a strong urge to help. Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes enabled us to help to victims and their families.”

“Donations go a long way for bills, but they also help with hopelessness and despair,” Doering says.

“Knowing there are people who want to help, walk with you through it and get things back to normal is a blessing. There’s a lot of gratitude, and it’s important that those who give know that.”
