Anna Davis lost her first pregnancy to miscarriage in 2019. She knows firsthand how isolating the loss of a child can feel. Out of her grief, she created something beautiful. Today, her giving spirit helps other women facing heartbreak at Mercy Health — Lourdes Hospital.

“Going through that loss like this was something I had never experienced before,” Anna says. “I wanted to help other women feel supported during such a difficult time.”

Anna partnered with the Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes to launch the Blessing Box program. These keepsake boxes are given to women experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss. Each box includes comforting items like a candle, prayer card and journal, along with space to store precious mementos. Today, Blessing Boxes continue to offer comfort, remembrance and healing.

“The Foundation listened, cared and helped make this vision possible,” she says. “I’m so grateful they believed in this and continue to care for families when they need it most.”
