Membership has its privileges! And as a member of IMPACT Lourdes, our women's philanthropic group, you will be directly involved in decision-making that impacts the programs and services provided by Mercy Health Lourdes. You'll be a change agent for high quality health care that benefits everyone in western Kentucky.
The women of IMPACT Lourdes are invited to two social events each year for updates from Mercy Health Lourdes leaders and to meet and network with other generous women. Every fall, members receive presentations on several of Lourdes Hospital's most needed and strategic, yet non-budgeted projects. Members vote to collectively select the project to receive a grant funded by their membership donations.
Donations from IMPACT Lourdes memberships provide dependable ongoing support for urgent needs that arise. More than $400,000 has been granted by the IMPACT Lourdes group to support projects such as:
- MRI caring suite to calm patients during scans
- Startup funding for Outpatient Mission Fund
- Breast Margin Probe to detect cancerous tissue
- Code Lavender Rest and Recharge rooms for staff
- Expansion of Little Miracles Birthing Center
- Inpatient physical therapy gym renovation
