Community members gathered to support women’s health initiatives at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s second annual Women’s Health Dinner, held Tuesday, September 15, at The Central District in Lima.

The gathering celebrated the women of the Lima community, recognized providers, and thanked the generous donors whose support helped bring the vision of the Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Women’s Health Center to life. Set in the outdoor courtyard of Social House, the event featured live entertainment by Kenna Shurelds and a curated, five course garden harvest dinner prepared by Shannon and Audrey Gerasimchik, along with the team at Social House. The evening’s keynote speaker was Sherlyn Figueroa Garcia, a postdoctoral resident in clinical psychology, who addressed the “Increased Risk of Depression During Menopause”.
Guests enjoyed an evening centered on friendship, wellness, and meaningful conversation while also learning more about Mercy Health – St. Rita’s women’s health initiatives and the continued work being done to support women and families across the region.
