The Heart of Gold Memorial Fund continues to support patients and families in Cincinnati through sustained generosity and active involvement.
The Heart of Gold Memorial Fund recently held its annual gala, the organization's largest fundraising event of the year.
For more than 15 years, the Heart of Gold Memorial Fund has been committed to providing support to the Women’s Imaging Center at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health, giving more than $100,000 to enhance patient care and services at for more than 15 years. The organization contributed to the purchase of new mobile mammography vehicles in 2023 and recently helped to cover costs for upgrades to the physical space at the Women’s Imaging Center.
The Heart of Gold Memorial Fund is a multi-generational family non-profit. The family matriarch, Margaret Peters, worked and was treated at the Jewish Hospital until she passed away from cancer. The Fund was created in her memory as well as in memory of her son.
Three fundraising events are held each year, where representatives from Mercy Health Foundation Greater Cincinnati often speak to participants about how funds raised directly impact patients and caregivers.
