A crowd gathered at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center for the groundbreaking
Violence Response Team members helped out with the demolition
February 22 was an exciting day at Southside Medical Center! Construction of a new 2,200 square-foot Violence Response Team (VRT) suite began in earnest. During the groundbreaking ceremony, VRT members picked up sledgehammers and kicked off demolition.
To help cheer them on, hospital leaders, Foundation staff and community leaders gathered. And, of course, D&H Construction joined in the celebration.
The Foundation is continuing to fundraise for this VRT expansion. Additional donations totaling $300,000 are still needed to meet the goal. The support of donors like you makes vital projects like this possible.
