The EBE recognized the Bon Secours Mercy Health Foundation President at its annual Hall of Fame Ceremony

Mr. Koder was selected for his contributions to the business sector and vitality of northwest Ohio

On November 7 at The Pinnacle in Maumee, Ohio, the Entrepreneurial & Business Excellence (EBE) program awarded Tim Koder the Davenport-Longenecker Lifetime Achievement Award. The honor was a surprise to Mr. Koder, who gave earnest thanks when he took the podium at the 36th Annual Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This award honors an individual for a lifetime of positive impact on the business sector in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Recipients are people who help others succeed, and who establish a legacy of promoting the region's vitality.

Mr. Koder is, indeed, such an individual. Since 2013, he has been the president and Chief Development Officer of Mercy Health Foundation Greater Toledo. He's also headed the Bon Secours Mercy Health Foundation as president since it began in 2020. Over the years, he's led many advancements for both Foundations. His leadership directs the Foundation to inspire charitable giving and grant support that expands and improves faith-based health care in our communities, both in northwest Ohio and across five other states. His guidance has ultimately helped an untold number of patients, care providers and community members.

This induction highlights Mr. Koder's willingness to assist others, to champion our communities and to steward economic success for the region. We are grateful to have him at the helm of the Foundation and thank the EBE for bestowing him this honor.
