Patient assistance programs for people who qualify based on financial need are just one way we improve the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those who are poor, dying and underserved.

Outpatient Mission Fund
For some people who turn to Mercy Health's clinics and outpatient services, a health care crisis creates a financial crisis at home. Their limited budget means they can't afford household expenses and the costs of medical care or medications.
A donation to the Outpatient Mission Fund directly helps people who can't otherwise afford medications, medical equipment, food, clothing, housing, transportation or other things they need to regain their health.

Patient Mission Fund
Most patients who leave the hospital need medications or medical equipment to continue healing at home. But people with a limited income may not be able to afford these medical needs on top of their regular bills and expenses. Some don't even have clean clothes when it's time to go home and don't have anyone to call to pick them up.
When you give to the Foundation's Patient Mission Fund, you provide people being discharged from the hospital with transportation home or a set of clothing to wear. You help them get the medications or equipment they need to fully recover. You may even help someone get a safe place to stay and food vouchers for groceries while they continue to heal. Anyone with a qualifying financial need can get help through the Patient Mission Fund, thanks to donors like you.
