Thanks to Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes donors, a new mobile Care-A-Van hits the road
Staff are equipped to provide screenings and school physicals across Paducah neighborhoods
Minivans are cool, especially when they're bringing free health care resources right to your neighborhood. Contributions to Mercy Health Foundation Lourdes provided the funding to purchase a new Care-A-Van—a specially equipped minivan that transports staff and supplies to community health fairs and events.
Nurses and staff from Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital can take the Care-A-Van to pop-up clinics where they provide free screenings like blood pressure checks, blood glucose readings and other important health indicators. The capacity of the van also allows the team to provide free flu shots and back to school physicals. Because of our generous donors, we are able to bring convenient health care even closer to home.
Look for the Care-A-Van at community events or call Leigh Ann Ballegeer at (270) 444-2969 to schedule a visit for your church, school or neighborhood.
