Bob and Judy give to be a part of the healing ministry of Jesus
Bob and Judy Whaley have been part of the Bon Secours - St. Francis Hospital family for over three decades and continue to support the hospital’s Mission with their gifts.
Judy retired after 30 years as a nurse at the hospital and continues to volunteer there.
“We love St. Francis,” Judy said.
“The first day I walked in the door, I knew it was someplace special. I went home and told my husband that I would work there even if I wasn’t paid.”
Bob, a pastor, said it was a joy to be associated with the doctors and nurses at the hospital when visiting his church family. “I know all of my members were well cared for,” he said. “I know our gifts to the unrestricted fund through the foundation are helping where they are needed most.”
“St. Francis stands for what we believe,” Judy said, “which is to continue the healing ministry of Jesus.”
