Lend a Hand
Give good help to people who are struggling
Nobody should have to choose between paying their bills or getting medical care and medications
Our assistance programs help people get the health care services they need, even if they don’t have insurance or the ability to pay
Patient Assistance Programs
Funds that support patient needs are just one way we improve the health and well-being of our communities and bring good help to those in need, especially to those who are poor, dying and underserved. Each of our Foundations offers donors the opportunity to support local patient assistance funds to help people in that community, and sometimes even at a specific hospital.
Patient assistance programs help people who qualify based on financial need to get free or low-cost medications, medical equipment, transportation, co-pays or cost of doctor visits, food or groceries and other types of assistance that help patients continue to heal outside of the hospital. While the type of help available through patient assistance programs varies from location to location, what remains the same is the life-saving and life-changing impact your gift will have on someone who is struggling.

BSMH Employee Assistance: Caring For Our Own Fund
Another way we care for those in need is offering a helping hand to our own Bon Secours Mercy Health associates when they face a crisis situation that challenges their finances. Thanks to donations for the Caring For Our Own fund, we can ensure every member of our team is ready to care for you and your family too.
